Bulk Data Upload

DWA Commerce provides a convenient way to perform bulk data operations, such as adding products, updating prices, adding categories, adding brands, and managing party customer suppliers. This can be done by utilizing the bulk upload feature, which allows you to upload data from Excel templates.

Excel Templates

To streamline the process of bulk data management, we have provided Excel templates that you can use as a starting point. These templates are pre-formatted with the required columns and data structure for each specific operation.

You can download the Excel templates from the following links:

  1. Download Category Template - Use this template to add new categories to your store. Each row represents a separate category, and you can specify the name, description, and any parent categories.

  2. Download Brand Template - This template allows you to add new brands to your store. Simply provide the brand name and any additional details in the Excel sheet.

  3. Download Party Customer Supplier Template - Use this template to manage party customer suppliers. You can add new parties, update their information, or associate them with specific products.

  4. Download Inventory Overwrite Template - This template is used for overwriting inventory data in bulk. You can update inventory quantities, locations, and other related information.

  5. Download Inventory Receive Templates - These templates are used for receiving new or existing inventory lots. You can update inventory quantities, locations, and other related information.

  6. Download Post Template - This template is used for uploading post data in bulk, such as blog posts, articles, or news items.

  7. Download Product Price Update Template - This template is used for updating product prices in bulk. You can update the price, currency, and other related information.

  8. Download Product Specification Template - This template is used for updating product specifications in bulk. You can update product attributes, features, and other related information.

  9. Download Product Standard Templates - These templates are used for uploading standard product data in bulk, including product details, images, and other related information.

  10. Download Product Virtual Variant Templates - These templates are used for uploading virtual variant product data in bulk, including product details, images, and other related information.

  11. Download Video Template - This template is used for uploading video data in bulk, such as product videos, tutorials, or promotional videos.

  12. Download Warehouse Planner Template - This template is used for managing warehouse data in bulk, including warehouse Locations, Description, Building, Floor , Aisle, Rack, Shelf and Location ID.

 

Uploading Data

Once you have filled in the necessary information in the Excel templates, you can upload the data to DWA Commerce using the bulk upload feature. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your DWA Commerce admin panel.
  2. Navigate to the "Catalog" and click on the "Excel Data" submenu.
  3. Choose the type of data you want to upload (products, prices, categories, brands, or party customer suppliers).
  4. Click on the "Upload Excel File" button and select the corresponding Excel template file.

Please note that it's important to follow the formatting guidelines mentioned in the Excel templates for successful data upload.
